earthquake1After the devastating earthquake in Haiti, many are rushing to be the hands and feet of Christ to those in need. Pray continuously for these teams and let us know if you would like to be a part of helping out!

“Thanks once again for all the love, prayer, and support. It is truly all of that which allows us to push forward with courage. The coming days, weeks, months, and even years will be very tough and the road to recovery for Haiti will be unbelievably challenging. But by the grace of God and with the help and strength of our brothers and sisters both locally and abroad, Haiti will prevail!”

-Rev. Doris Jean Louis, Haiti.

Pray especially for the deaconesses of Latin America this week! Throughout the continent these women serve with their hearts and hands to reach out to the broken hearted, the poor and the cast out, and to bring the tremendous love of Christ to those who need His touch! Pray for strength for these women of God, for perseverance and willingness, to let Christ’s love shine through them. Pray for their safety and effectiveness as they travel from home to home and village to village, and that they would stay in the Word and in prayer themselves! Most importantly pray that more women can be found to serve as deaconesses and that the Lord will continue to work through these servants in Latin America.
